Muhammad Ali's advice to his daughters..............Inspiring

An incident transpired when Muhammad Ali’s daughters arrived at his home wearing clothes that were quite revealing. Here is the story as told by one of his daughters:

“When we... finally arrived, the chauffeur escorted my younger sister, Laila, and me up to my father’s suite. As usual, he was hiding behind the door waiting to scare us. We exchanged many hugs and kisses as we could possibly give in one day. My father took a good look at us. Then he sat me down on his lap and said something that I will never forget. He looked me straight in the eyes and said, “Hana, everything that God made valuable in the world is covered and hard to get to. Where do you find diamonds? Deep down in the ground, covered and protected. Where do you find pearls? Deep down at the bottom of the ocean, covered up and protected in a beautiful shell. Where do you find gold? Way down in the mine, covered over with layers and layers of rock. You've got to work hard to get to them.” He looked at me with serious eyes. “Your body is sacred. You’re far more precious than diamonds and pearls, and you should be covered too.”

Dr. appt. up-date

Ron and I went to Little Rock this morning and saw the Dr. that did my surgery. He said he is 99.9999% sure he got all the cancer and I should never have that problem again.

He also said that my cancer was a stage 1b which means it wasn't agressive and stayed in the wall of my uterous. It did NOT spread to any mussles or lymphnodes... I will NOT have to have any further treatments (NO CHEMO - NO RADIATION) but I do have to return in 4 months to make sure all the fluids that are still seeping out of me have stopped..

I'm Praising God for this wonderful news, I'm on cloud 9 and ready to do the happy dance in the street in the middle of the rain

Have a Blessed evening... Love & Hugs

Insurance and Surgery Up-Date

At the end of Oct.2012 I found out the cancer had indeed "returned" after 14 yrs in remission. Having no insurance (because the insurance consider me "high rish" because of the cancer in 1998) I went to everyone I knew to get help with no sucess.

BEFORE I go any futher, let me explain this from the insurance company's point of view. Legally they can't refuse me coverage, but they can and "do" raise the cost of insurance so high that you can't afford to get insurance, so many Americans go without insurance who would other-wise get insurance . Many Americans don't get medical help because they can't afford to go to the Dr's... This SCREAMS at American Goverment to do something to help others out of this dificult situation...

Many Hard working American citizens go to work everyday, pay their own bills and ask for nothing in return but to live the American Dream and live in peace. When tradegy hit's them between the eyes and they go to the Goverment (Welfare Dept) and they are told NO we won't help you because your not Old, Disabled, Blind or a Child, Americans fall in the cracks with no where to turn and no one to help... YET the Goverment doesn't hasten to take their taxes every week from these same people they won't help... This also SCREAMS At American Goverment to do something to help our American citizens out of this difficult situation...

So after many tears & Prayers, I went to my OBGYN and she referded me to the UAMS in Little Rock for help... YES they will see me with NO INSURANCE, YES they will take payments, and they even have Charity programs they offer... PRAISE GOD They cared!!!!!!

On Dec. 18th, 2012 I had my uterous & overies removed {Robitic Surgery is awesome, less invassive and quicker healing time}. They believe the cancer was a "grade 1" which means it remained in the walls of my uterous.. {were still waiting for the results of staging and type of cancer it was}

What are my feeling about the UAMS Hospital in Little Rock??? Are you sure you want the answer??? You KNOW I'm a woman who speaks her mind here...

OK here goes, UAMS is OUTSTANDING, EXCELLENT HOSPITAL & STAFF, full of COMPASSION, LOVE, MERCY & GRACE. Their Staff is full of Love and gentle attitudes. I was treated with respect, given the full benifits of their awesome hospital and staff and I have absoutley NO complaints... Only thing I can say about their care & staff is OUTSTANDING & EXCELLENT CARE in every aspect.

Thank You UAMS Hospital & Staff for a wonderful expierence. You truly have Blessed my life and that of our Family... I Thank You from the bottom of my heart... God's Blessings upon you always.
