Koffee Time
Here is is already April, how fast the time is flying. March was "COLD" here in the Ozarks, Then towards the end of the month it went up to high 70's and even yesterday it was 87, oh I feel SPRING in the air, however, today back down to the 40's and windy...
Ron had alot of time in pain between his hip & shoulder. Dr. said it arthritis and this is heartbreaking for me to watch my Beloved hobbling around in such pain. Ron is such a "GOOD MAN" and doesn't desirve this!!!!
Ron loves to garden, his seeds took a back seat this year getting started, he just is, thats all; Anyhow April came and Ron got busy with small projects and small gardens cleaned, Gladolias planted, onions planted & some garden container planted and sitting on our verondia / deck.
You can't change anyone...you can't fix anyone... only yourself..Be yourself always..Don't be judged by anyone but God- and God loves you even when you make mistakes..LOVE, PRAY, FORGIVE..AND FORGIVE YOURSELF
In Dec. 2010 my Mother got herself a Nook. I knew nothing about them, but had to learn in order to set her's up and help her with finding books, understanding the Nook Etc. It was very frustrating for me because I knew NOTHING about them nor did she, only that she saw Dr. Oz, Oprah, & Ellen give the Kendell's (E-Readers) away on their shows and she wanted one. We got to Best Buy and they were out of Kendells, but had only 2 Nooks left so we got one.
Here's the link to my first encounter of the Nook back in Dec.2010
http://simplyjeanarie.blogspot.com/2010/12/nook.html
Well now it's April 2011 and I've played some on Mom's and decided it's a great idea to have 1500 storage of books, small enough to fit in your purse, and I think I'd like to have one.
Ron took me to Best Buy on Sat. 4/2/2011 and bought me a Nook. I registered it, set my perfrences up, ordered some books, and got several FREE books from Barns & Noble and I love mine.!!!!!! Yesterday I set up my shelf's for my books, have just enjoyed everything about my Nook. If I only had time "alone" with Mom's Nook I may very well have gone and got my own long before now, thats how much I like my Nook.
So Yesterday 4/3/11 in the afternoon I got Mom's and brought it over to my house to set up her shelf's, and prefrences for her. On my way back over to her her, it (her Nook) decided to up-grade, so we waited, what it did was RE-SET it'self to original setting. I had to re-regester her Nook, set up her prefrences, set up her book shelfs, and text size. I opened her book for her and went back home, THINKING ok now Mom is set and able to read and enjoy her Nook... (Thats what I get for thinking)
This morning, Mom's car wouldn't start so she needed me to take both her and my Aunt to the dentist. I got dressed, grabbed my Nook, and off we went. While in the dentist office, Mom notified me her Nook went to tiny text size and her book would NOT open or turn pages. NOW WHAT DO I DO? I decided to call Best Buy and see if they will exchange it for a new one, and start over again. We'll see later what happens when I call them.
MINE, works perfectly, I enjoyed sitting quietly in the dentist office reading my sweet Nook, while Mom and Aunt Lois entertained the dentist in the back.
{THANK YOU PRECIOUS RON FOR OUR NEW NOOK}
I hope everyone enjoyes everyday this month, think of something possitive you can get involved with, pick some wild flowers and share with your neighbor..

WARMTH TO OUR HEARTS
WARMTH TO OUR HEARTS
by Ofelia Brevaldo
"What have I gotten myself into?"
I mumbled to myself as I glanced at the nervous, scared, old, and
almost hairless Chihuahua inside the box on the passenger seat. This
would be the 7th dog in our household! I chuckled at the thought of
getting with my community outreach team at work and consider having a
"Pet Food Drive for Ofelia."
I reached out and stroked the dog's head, told her that she will
be okay with us and that we will be home soon. Getting home was not
soon enough -- the traffic was backed up, the usual 1.5 hour commute
stretched to 2 hours.
Barbara, the lady who fostered and brought the dog to me at work,
mentioned over the phone that the dog has some skin condition and lost
most of her hair. When she said the dog was ugly, I thought she was
only joking! She named the dog Bella.
Bella stared at me while I talked to her. I did not know her
background other than she was rescued from somewhere.
There's a difference between adopting and rescuing a pet. When you
adopt, you choose the pet that you have connection with -- one that is
cute, friendly and so on. When you rescue, it does not matter how they
look like -- you are going to take them.
When we arrived home, I picked Bella up. She was still scared and
tried to get away by climbing up to my shoulder. I rushed her inside and
into the fenced-in area at the side of the house so that she could take
care of her business. We were followed by 4 small dogs and 2 big dogs.
All were very curious about the new arrival, but their curiosity ended
after the initial sniffing session.
Ron met Bella shortly after he finished feeding the chickens
and goats. I watched as Ron picked Bella up and said, "We are going to
take care of you. You are safe here."
While Bella did not give us any problem, she was suspicious. She
only came close to us when it was feeding time. Since she is an older
dog, Ron thought that she probably has problem chewing dry food. So,
he made a special trip to Winn Dixie and got soft and canned food for her.
Bella parked herself on the back of the couch where the other dogs
usually spend time when they get tired playing. Despite her keeping
distance from us, Bella was always happy to see us when we arrived home
at night. They all look forward to us letting them out in the yard
while Ron and I attend to the ducks, chickens and goats.
It was February 6, 2008, when I brought Bella home. Since then,
she has most all her hair back. A beautiful dark brown. Even with
the newly grown hair over her face, she still doesn't look cute but we
love her just the same. She no longer spends the night on the back of
the couch. She had claimed a spot on our bed with the other 4 small dogs.
Working full time with the 90 minute commute and taking care of
numerous pets does not leave much time for us but we are not complaining.
The pets bring so much joy and warmth to our hearts. We are
thankful for having the opportunity to give them a home.

Cinnamon & Honey
Facts on honey and cinnamon: It is found that a mixture of honey and cinnamon cures most diseases. Honey is produced in most of the countries of the world. Scientists of today also accept honey as a “Ram Ban” (very effective) medicine for all kinds of diseases. Honey can be used without any side effects for any kind of disease.
Today’s science says that even though honey is sweet, if taken in the right dosage as a medicine, it does not harm diabetic patients. Weekly World News, a magazine in Canada , in its issue dated 17 January, 1995 has given the following list of diseases that can be cured by honey and cinnamon as researched by western scientists:
{As for Ron & I, we have to take the cinnamon in pill form, (inexpensive) no problem taking the honey but the cinnamon is just to much, to intense for us... JMSQ }
HEART DISEASE:
Make a paste of honey and cinnamon powder, apply on bread, instead of jelly and jam, and eat it regularly for breakfast. It reduces the cholesterol in the arteries and saves the patient from heart attack. Also those who have already had an attack, if they do this process daily, they are kept miles away from the next attack. Regular use of the above process relieves loss of breath and strengthens the heart beat. In America and Canada , various nursing homes have treated patients successfully and have found that as you age, the arteries and veins lose their flexibility and get clogged; honey and cinnamon revitalize the arteries and veins.
ARTHRITIS:
Arthritis patients may take daily, morning, and night, one cup of hot water with two spoons of honey and one small teaspoon of cinnamon powder. If taken regularly even chronic arthritis can be cured. In a recent research conducted at the Copenhagen University, it was found that when the doctors treated their patients with a mixture of one tablespoon Honey and half teaspoon Cinnamon powder before breakfast, they found that within a week, out of the 2 00 people so treated, practically 73 patients were totally relieved of pain, and within a month, mostly all the patients who could not walk or move around because of arthritis started walking without pain.
BLADDER INFECTIONS:
Take two tablespoons of cinnamon powder and one teaspoon of honey in a glass of lukewarm water and drink it. It destroys the germs in the bladder.
TOOTHACHE:
Make a paste of one teaspoon of cinnamon powder and five teaspoons of honey and apply on the aching tooth. This may be applied three times a day until the tooth stops aching.
CHOLESTEROL:
Two tablespoons of honey and three teaspoons of Cinnamon Powder mixed in 16 ounces of tea water, given to a cholesterol patient, was found to reduce the level of cholesterol in the blood by 10 percent within two hours. As mentioned for arthritic patients, if taken three times a day, any chr onic cholesterol is cured. According to information received in the said journal, pure honey taken with food daily relieves complaints of cholesterol.
COLDS:
Those suffering from common or severe colds should take one tablespoon lukewarm honey with 1/4 spoon cinnamon powder daily for three days. This process will cure most chronic cough, cold, and clear the sinuses.& nbsp;
UPSET STOMACH:
Honey taken with cinnamon powder cures stomach ache and also clears stomach ulcers from the root.
GAS:
According to the studies done in India and Japan , it is revealed that if honey is taken with cinnamon powder the stomach is relieved of gas.
IMMUNE SYSTEM:
Daily use of honey and cinnamon powder strengthens the immune system and protects the body from bacteria and viral attacks. Scientists have found that honey has various vitamins and iron in large amounts. Constant use of honey strengthens the white blood corpuscles to fight bacteria and viral diseases.
INDIGESTION:
Cinnamon powder sprinkled on two tablespoons of honey taken before food relieves acidity and digests the heaviest of meals.
INFLUENZA:
A scientist in Spain has proved that honey contains a natural ingredient which kills the influenza germs and saves the patient from flu.
LONGEVITY:
Tea made with honey and cinnamon powder, when taken regularly, arrests the ravages of old age. Take four spoons of honey, one spoon of cinnamon powder and three cups of water and boi l to make like tea. Drink 1/4 cup, three to four times a day. It keeps the skin fresh and soft and arrests old age. Life spans also increases and even a 100 year old, starts performing the chores of a 20-year-old.
WEIGHT LOSS:
Daily in the morning one half hour before breakfast on an empty stomach and at night before sleeping, drink honey and cinnamon powder boiled in one cup of water. If taken regularly, it reduces the weight of even the most obese person. Also, drinking this mixture regularly does not allow the fat to accumulate in the body even though the person may eat a high calorie diet.
CANCER:
Recent research in Japan and Australia has revealed that advanced cancer of the stomach and bones have been cured successfully. Patients suffering from these kinds of cancer should daily take one tablespoon of honey with one teaspoon of cinnamon powder for one month three times a day.
FATIGUE:
Recent studies have shown that the sugar content of honey is more helpful rather than! than being detrimental to the strength of the body. Senior citizens, who take honey and cinnamon powder in equal parts, are more alert and flexible. Dr. Milton, who has done research, says that a half tablespoon of honey taken in a glass of water and sprinkled with cinnamon powder, taken daily after brushing and in the afternoon at about 3:00 P.M. when the vitality of the body starts to decrease, increases the vitality of the body within a week.

Asparagus -- Who knew ?
Asparagus -- Who knew ?
From a friend -
My Mom had been taking the full-stalk canned style
asparagus that she pureed and she took 4 tablespoons in
the morning and 4 tablespoons later in the day. She did
this for over a month. She is on chemo pills for Stage 3
lung cancer in the pleural area and her cancer cell
count went from 386 down to 125 as of this past week.
Her oncologist said she does not need to see him for 3
months.
THE ARTICLE:
Several years ago, I had a man seeking asparagus for a
friend who had cancer. He gave me a photocopied copy
of an article, entitled, Asparagus for cancer 'printed in
Cancer News Journal, December 1979. I will share it
here, just as it was shared with me: I am a
biochemist, and have specialized in the relation of diet
to health or over 50 years. Several years ago, I learned
of the discovery of Richard R. Vensal, D.D.S. that
asparagus might cure cancer. Since then, I have worked
with him on his project We have accumulated a number
of favorable case histories. Here are a few examples:
Case No. 1, A man with an almost hopeless case
of Hodgkin's disease (cancer of the lymph glands) who
was completely incapacitated. Within 1 year of starting
the asparagus therapy, his doctors were unable to
detect any signs of cancer, and he was back on a
schedule of strenuous exercise.
Case No. 2, a successful businessman 68 years old
who suffered from cancer of the bladder for 16 years.
After years of medical treatments, including radiation
without improvement, he went on asparagus. Within 3
months, examinations revealed that his bladder tumor
had disappeared and that his kidneys were normal.
Case No. 3, a man who had lung cancer. On March 5th 1971, he
was put on the operating table where they found
lung cancer so widely spread that it was inoperable.
The surgeon sewed him up and declared his case
hopeless. On April 5th he heard about the Asparagus
therapy and immediately started taking it By August,
x-ray pictures revealed that all signs of the cancer had
disappeared..
He is back at his regular business routine.
Case No. 4, a woman who was troubled for a number of
years with skin cancer. She finally developed different
skin cancers which were diagnosed by the acting
specialist as advanced. Within 3 months after starting
on asparagus, her skin specialist said that her skin
looked fine and no more skin lesions. This woman
reported that the asparagus therapy also cured her
kidney disease, which started in 1949. She had over 10
operations for kidney stones, and was receiving
government disability payments for an inoperable,
terminal, kidney condition. She attributes the cure of
this kidney trouble entirely to the asparagus.
I was not surprised at this result, as `The elements of
materia medica', edited in1854 by a Professor at the
University of Pennsylvania , stated that asparagus was
used as a popular remedy for kidney stones. He even
referred to experiments, in 1739, on the power of
asparagus in dissolving stones. Note the dates!
We would have other case histories but the medical
establishment has interfered with our obtaining some
of the records. I am therefore appealing to readers to
spread this good news and help us to gather a large
number of case histories that will overwhelm the
medical skeptics about this unbelievably simple and
natural remedy.
For the treatment, asparagus should be cooked
before using, and therefore canned asparagus is just
as good as fresh. I have corresponded with the two
leading canners of asparagus, Giant and Stokely, and I
am satisfied that these brands contain no pesticides or
preservatives.
Place the cooked asparagus in a blender and liquefy to
make a puree, and store in the refrigerator. Give the
patient 4 full tablespoons twice daily, morning and
evening. Patients usually show some improvement in
2-4 weeks. It can be diluted with water and used as a
cold or hot drink. This suggested dosage is based on
present experience, but certainly larger amounts can do
no harm and may be needed in some cases. As a
biochemist I am convinced of the old saying that `what
cures can prevent.' Based on this theory, my wife and I
have been using asparagus puree as a beverage with
our meals. We take 2 tablespoons diluted in water to
suit our taste with breakfast and with dinner. I take
mine hot and my wife prefers hers cold. For years we
have made it a practice to have blood surveys taken as
part of our regular checkups. The last blood survey,
taken by a medical doctor who specializes in the
nutritional approach to health, showed substantial
improvements in all categories over the last one, and
we can attribute these improvements to nothing but
the asparagus drink.
As a biochemist, I have made an extensive study of all
aspects of cancer, and all of the proposed cures. As a
result, I am convinced that asparagus fits in better
with the latest theories about cancer.
Asparagus contains a good supply of protein called
histones, which are believed to be active in controlling
cell growth.. For that reason, I believe asparagus can
be said to contain a substance that I call cell growth
normalizer. That accounts for its action on cancer and
in acting as a general body tonic. In any event,
regardless of theory, asparagus used as we suggest, is
a harmless substance. The FDA cannot prevent you
from using it and it may do you much good. It has
been reported by the US National Cancer Institute, that
asparagus is the highest tested food containing
glutathione, which is considered one of the body's
most potent anticarcinogens and antioxidants.

all the kindness one has received, even to the most
undeserved person.

with him on his project We have accumulated a number
of favorable case histories.

Made In America - - March 4th-April 4th
Did you all see that Diane Sawyer has a special report coming up this week on this very subject. They removed ALL items from a typical, middleclass family’s home, that were not made in the USA . There was hardly anything left besides the kitchen sink. Literally. During the special they are going to show truckloads of items – USA made – being brought in to replace everything. And will be talking about how to find these items and the difference in price etc.
It was interesting that Diane said that if every American spent just $64 (more than normal) on USA made items this year, it would create something like 200,000 new jobs.
Made ME think!
Check the Can
I WAS BUYING FOOD THE OTHER DAY AT WALMART.
ON THE LABEL OF SOME PRODUCTS IT SAID 'FROM CHINA '.
FOR EXAMPLE THE "OUR FAMILY" BRAND OF THE MANDARIN ORANGES SAYS RIGHT ON THE CAN 'FROM CHINA '.
I WAS SHOCKED!! SO FOR A FEW MORE CENTS I BOUGHT THE LIBERTY GOLD BRAND OR THE DOLE SINCE IT'S FROM CALIF.
TAKES FOREVER JUST TO BUY FOOD AND DO LABEL READING ! !
Are we Americans as dumb as we appear --- or --- is it that we just do not think? While the Chinese, knowingly and intentionally, export inferior and even toxic products and dangerous toys and goods to be sold in American markets.
Yet 70% of Americans believe that the trading privileges afforded to the Chinese should be suspended.
Well, duh..why do you need the government to suspend trading privileges?
SIMPLY DO IT YOURSELF, AMERICA !!
Simply look on the bottom of every product you buy, and if it says 'Made in China ' or 'PRC' (and that now includes Hong Kong ), simply choose another product, or none at all. You will be amazed at how dependent you are on Chinese products, and you will be equally amazed at what you can do without.
Who needs plastic eggs to celebrate Easter? If you must have eggs, use real ones and benefit some American farmer. Easter is just an example, the point is do not wait for the government to act. Just go ahead and assume control on your own.
THINK ABOUT THIS: If 200 million Americans refuse to buy just $20 each of Chinese goods, that's a billion dollar trade imbalance resolved in our favor...fast!!
The downside? Some American businesses will feel a temporary pinch from having foreign stockpiles of inventory. Wahhhhhhhhhhhh!!!
The solution? Let's give them fair warning and send our own message. Most of the people who have been reading about this matter are planning on implementing this on March. 4th and continue it until April. 4th That is only one month of trading losses, but it will hit the Chinese for 1/12th of the total, or 8%, of their American exports. Then they will at least have to ask themselves if the benefits of their arrogance and lawlessness were worth it.
Remember, March. 4th to April. 4th
START NOW.
Check the can!
Send this to everybody you know. Let's show them that we are Americans and NOBODY can take us for granted.
If we can't live without cheap Chinese goods for one month out of our lives, WE DESERVE WHAT WE GET!
Pass it on, America .

Dr. Oz's GREEN Breakfast Drink
Make the breakfast drink that Dr. Oz swears by! This "green drink" is high in fiber, low-calorie and rich in vitamins.
Ingredients:
2 cups spinach
2 cups cucumber
1 head of celery
1/2 inch or teaspoon ginger root
1 bunch parsley
2 apples
Juice of 1 lime
Juice of 1/2 lemon
Directions
Combine all ingredients in a blender. This makes approximately 28-30 ounces, or 3-4 servings.
NOTE:
Ok one & all, I made it according to the directions and I think Dr. Oz meant to say to run it through juicer and NOT the blender. The blender makes so much and so think that I had to add water to thin it enough to swallow and drink without chocking on the thickness. It taste good none the less, but then I enjoy fresh juice and will drink this watered down and make a fresh batch again this weekend only I'll be using the juicer instead of the blender..

Strange Few Day's
Well this has been a strange last few days for us. Not sure how I'm feeling about it at the moment. Talking with my Lord and waiting for Him to guide and re-assure me in this strange groups of events
1.) a friend (Lloyd Kirkham) passed away. We know him & his wife Helen from TOPS. Lloyd has been in and our if ICU for the last 3 1/2 weeks litterly. When he went back into ICU this last time I just had a feeling, and then SCOLDED myself for allowing that thought to cross my mind.
My heart aches for his precious wife Helen & Son and church family who are all so deeply saddened by his passing. The only thing I can truly say about Lloyd is that he LOVED the LORD, Served Him Gladly, so I know I'll see Lloyd again when I make that trip myself.
2.) Last night while going through our spam folder on our yahoo.com e-mail I fell upon an e-mail from my brother David. David is quiet, estranged from our family, God only know why, breaks my heart, and our Precious 80 yr old Mother is just crushed by his estragment.
David has started a family tree with Ancestry.com and invited me to see what he has done. He did a wonderful job on his side of the family... COODLES for ya Brother (Coodles = is a GREAT JOB). He found names of people on our Dad's side of the family I had never heard of, dates that are different from what I have, ETC. but all in all I'm delighted beyond words that he thought enough of us to share this information with us.. Touched my heart, truly did
3.) Today I found out my Brother Jim (who passed away a yr ago) 1st wife Sandy passed away. She was also estranged from her family (4 Beautiful Daughters - Tracy, Dawn, Rosemary, & Missy & 6 Grandchildren) My heart breaks for them all because as long as Sandy was alive there was hope she would sober up and make amends for the lost relationship's & pain she caused her daughters.
I've loved & Prayed for Sandy over the years, It breaks my heart when I think of what could have been with her and the girls, yet, I'm so thankful for the time Sandy was a major part of my life and the love & closeness we two shared. I've always Love Ya Sandy and thought of you over the years, How I wish I could have made a difference in your life
Blessings ~Jeanarie

Cyber Space & Your Children
It saddens me to wittness parents go off to work and let their children come home to an empty house/home/apartment etc.
Our children need loving arms to return home to, not a TV full of sex, guts, & violance, or computer where prediators are.
Face Book, My Space, Chat Rooms, TV's, Computers, are FULL of 2 legged Prediators, pedifiles, rapist, abusers, need I go on, and YOUR allowing these kind of people to entertain & raise your children. They come into your home where your child should feel the safest and tell the empty child everything they the child need's "YOU" to be telling them, and then they (_____) with your child. Where are you?? Why arn't you there when your child needs you the most?
Why are you allowing you 10 yr old child , 13yr old child, 15 yr old child to be on the computer UNSUPERVISED for these kind of animals to contact. And how about the cell phones, who are they texting and sending messages to on my space & face book?? Do you read and go over everything your child is involved with in the world of cyber space?
This is NOT a matter of trusting your child. You may very well indeed have an honest well brought up child, but the ones on line and in cyber space is another matter to be concerned with.
Single parnets, married couple all have to work, in a perfect world the Mom should be home raising her own precious children while her husband is off working. However today there is so many single parent homes, and I do understand that parents have to work in order to support themselves and their children. So with that being said I have some ideas for you.
Instead of your children coming home to an empty house, send them to Grandma's, how about after school activities at school, Some churches have after school activies for children. There is always the Boys & Girls club, youth centers. ETC. Have an older family member available to spend time with the children. I realise 15 yr old children don't want to go to babysitters, but they could go to friends homes where there is supervision. (SUPERVISION is the key word here)
How many wonderful children fall by the wayside and get caught up in the world of DRUGS & DRINKING, SEX before they fully understand the consquences, where do they fall from there. Having them busy keeps them from being iddle where these kinds of things begin to take over they empty lives
2 family incomes, sometimes sacrifices is a MUST when it comes to the lives of your children. Whats more important money or your childs life?
And thats my 2 cents worth...

Koffee Time - Weekly Review
What a day to have, Cooling temps outside, I'm a little spoiled after temps of high 60's & even 70 one day this week. Remember last week we had a foot of snow, funny time of year, one day it's winter and the next it's spring
Ron & I went out for dinner last evening. We went to Dixie Cafe and had a wonderful dinner, great service, even brought 1/2 of my dinner home as there was to much food. My only problem with our dinner was it must have been loaded with salt because I awoke this morning and my arm and hand we so swollen from fluid retention. I have to eat limited salt about 1,000 mg daily. Yes we will go back there again, but next time I'll try something with less salt. Funny thing is I didn't taste the salt and usually I can spot it right away... Hummn, something to ponder..
Took my Snickers, Sarah, & Spike to the groomers this morning. Boy do they need a good bath and trim. It's been about 7 weeks sence I last took them, but when we had the snow and ice I wasn't thinking of doggie hair cuts. Looking forward to seeing my little guy's face again.. Nothing worse then a poodle with to much hair.
So far this week, I've knitted on my shawl, crocheted 2 gnomes, knitted 2 baby hats with matching booties, & knitted 1 baby hat. Always keeping my hands busy & God Willing Blessings others as well.
Have a Blessed week everyone, and thanks for stopping by our BLOG

Legend of the Cherokee Indian
Do you know the legend of the Cherokee Indian youth's rite of Passage?
His father takes him into the forest, blindfolds him and leaves him alone. He is required to sit on a stump the whole night and not remove the blindfold until the rays of the morning sun shine through it. He cannot cry out for help to anyone.
Once he survives the night, he is a MAN.
He cannot tell the other boys of this experience, because each lad must come into manhood on his own.
The boy is naturally terrified. He can hear all kinds of noises. Wild beasts must surely be all around him . Maybe even some human might do him
harm. The wind blew the grass and earth, and shook his stump, but he sat stoically, never removing the blindfold. It would be the only way he could become a man!
Finally, after a horrific night the sun appeared and he removed hisblindfold.
It was then that he discovered his father sitting on the stump next to him.
He had been at watch the entire night, protecting his son from harm.
We, too, are never alone.
Even when we don't know it, God is watching over us, Sitting on the stump beside us.
When trouble comes, all we have to do is reach out to Him.
If you liked this story, pass it on. If not, you took off your blindfold before dawn.
Moral of the story:
Just because you can't see God,
Doesn't mean He is not there.
"For we walk by faith, not by sight."
His father takes him into the forest, blindfolds him and leaves him alone. He is required to sit on a stump the whole night and not remove the blindfold until the rays of the morning sun shine through it. He cannot cry out for help to anyone.
Once he survives the night, he is a MAN.

If you liked this story, pass it on. If not, you took off your blindfold before dawn.
Moral of the story:
Just because you can't see God,
Doesn't mean He is not there.
"For we walk by faith, not by sight."

Febuary News
{Awesome Photo}
I haven't written much lately so I thought I'd drop a few lines before my day begins. Being retired now, there always something to do and never enough time to get it all finished. Priorities is a must, whats most important, and what absoutle needs to be completed.
It's Febuary already, it COLD, Grey and yuk outside as we speak. Were due for yet another storm to begin anytime producing another 3 or 4 inches of SNOW.. Now mind you, I love the snow, always have, hopefully always will, but and I mean BUT when my Beloved Ron is home from work, our Daughter and Granddaughter are home and safe in their home, then I can relax and enjoy the snow.
Driving in the snow is one thing, the ice on the road from the melt off is completly another thing. Ice is so dangerous and uncontrolable, frightening for me anyhow. I hybernate to keep from being out on the ice
My Beloved is scheldulded to go to Dallas again later this month to school. I hate it when he's gone and this is such a bad time of year for anyone to be traveling (driving) long distance.. Keeping this situation deep within prayers.
I have been busy crocheting lately. I've made 6 Cozy Cuddle sets (Cozy Sac, Hat, Mitts, & Booties) for babies. Each dedicated to one of our 6 Granddaughters. They each have such a nice design. Click on their photo to enlarge the design, Good job if I do say so
Now I'm finishing my un-finished projects I've started and going to make a new Prayer Shawl for someone special. Don't know who will recieve it yet, (God will guide me in that decidion), but I so enjoy making them and Praying for the reciever.. Exciting
Have a Blessed month, If you don't have a Valentine, find a Senior Citizen and Bless their lives with some God Inspired Love
